Maria Mora Pinzon, MD, MS, FACPM, recently appeared on Telemundo Wisconsin in a news segment discussing FDA approval of the drug lecanemab. The drug gained approval through an accelerated approval process in January 2023.
Dr. Mora Pinzon is assistant professor at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and a scientist with the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute, where her research program focuses on health services research in dementia care, barriers to access to medical care in diverse underrepresented communities, and health disparities in Latinx communities.
