The Brown County Dementia Friendly Community Coalition is hosting a series of free virtual classes with a goal of increasing awareness of perspectives on dementia in Wisconsin’s Black, Latinx and Native American communities.
Gina Green-Harris, MBA, will present at the upcoming Brown County Culture and Equity in Dementia Care virtual education series. Green-Harris is director of the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute Regional Milwaukee Office. The session she will present, Learning from Wisconsin’s Black Communities, is September 8, 2021. Additional class sessions are Learning from Wisconsin’s Native American Communities on September 13, presented by Mary Wolf and Elaina Seep; and Learning from Wisconsin’s Latino Communities on September 21 and September 28, presented by Al Castro.
