Dr. Mora Pinzon accepted to NIA’s Butler Williams Scholars

Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute Scientist Dr. Maria Mora Pinzon has been named a 2020 Butler-Williams Scholar by the National Institute of Aging (NIA).

This elite scholarship offers opportunities for faculty and researchers to gain extensive insight about aging research and personal guidance from NIA program officers. The five-day program includes lectures, seminars, and small group discussions about research topics including the biology of aging, genetics and Alzheimer’s disease, aging and health disparities research, and more.

Scholars’ receive mentorship for their individual research interests and advice on submitting research grant applications to NIA, all offered direct from NIA program officers.
