The Center for Aging Research and Education (CARE) at UW-Madison has worked with dementia friendly community groups since 2015. CARE offers free dementia-friendly toolkits, developed through user-centered design approaches.
This one-hour presentation will cover:
- Strategies to communicate with people living with dementia and to support their care partners
- Role-play scenarios that increase understanding and skills
- Dementia-friendly resources
Wisconsin Dementia Resource Network is a program hosted by Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute for professionals who work with individuals living with dementia.
