Dementia Friendly Tools for Students & Community Groups

A Wisconsin Dementia Resource Network (WDRN) webinar

The Center for Aging Research and Education (CARE) at UW-Madison has worked with dementia friendly community groups since 2015. CARE offers free dementia-friendly toolkits, developed through user-centered design approaches.

This one-hour presentation will cover:

  • Strategies to communicate with people living with dementia and to support their care partners
  • Role-play scenarios that increase understanding and skills
  • Dementia-friendly resources

Wisconsin Dementia Resource Network is a program hosted by Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute for professionals who work with individuals living with dementia.
