To become a Dementia Friend:
Participate in a one-hour, no-cost Information Session led by a trained Dementia Friends Champion. Learn the five key messages of dementia, what it’s like to live with dementia, and how to better communicate with someone who has dementia. As a Dementia Friend, you can turn your new understanding of dementia into a practical action that can help someone living with dementia in your community. Your action can be big or small. Every action counts! To find a dementia friends information session near you, please contact WAI or watch our website for upcoming sessions.
