The Amazing Grace Chorus® in the news

From WISN May 2026:  “When the year’s first Wisconsin honor flight departed from Milwaukee airport, one of the passengers on board was World War II Veteran Mr. Herman Langford.” Mr. Langford and his daughter are members of our Amazing Grace Chorus, and we are so glad to see his remarkable service recognized. Thank you for your service, Mr. Langford, and thank you both for continuing to lend your voices to our chorus program.  Watch an interview with the pair on WISN here: “97-year old WWII veteran participates in first honor flight of 2026

Girl power: Amazing Grace Women and the National Campaign about Alzheimer’s

AlzheimHer group
Members of the Amazing Grace Chorus were featured in a video and promotion of the national AlzheimHER’s chorus campaign.

The national campaign, AlzheimHER’s Chorus, a vocal group made of women living with the disease or affected by Alzheimer’s, is a collaborative effort of the Alzheimer’s Association and Maria Shriver’s Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement. Female members of WAI Amazing Grace Chorus® joined this national campaign to increase understanding about Alzheimer’s impact on women, with the goal of raising awareness that two-thirds of people living with Alzheimer’s are women.

The Amazing Grace Chorus® was filmed performing, and that video is part of the national campaign:

Sponsors for AlzheimHER’s Chorus include GSD&M Advertising Agency and the National Alzheimer’s Association. Local sponsors are Bader Philanthropies Inc. and the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute Regional Milwaukee Office. Find out more at alz.org/raiseyourvoice.
