The WAI Regional Milwaukee Office hosted its second annual Drive -Thru Resource Fair on Saturday, May 28 at Washington Park in Milwaukee. More than 100 people attended and received information from local organizations about resources and services and learned about research opportunities.
Attendees also had an option to receive a Covid-19 vaccinations from Outreach Community Health Center in a pop-up vaccine clinic, a variety of giveaways and raffle tickets, and a BBQ boxed lunch from Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que.
Enclave provided DJ music and a local Target store donated gift cards to be given as raffle prizes. On behalf of WAI, we’d like to thank the staff, volunteers and community partners who helped make the event a fun, engaging, and pandemic-safe community event.
