Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute (WAI) is excited to welcome Sarah Klein in her new role as WAI administrator. Klein is an experienced public sector director with many years experience helping organizations create thriving workplaces that help achieve their missions.
Klein previously worked for the UW—Madison School of Education and for the state of Wisconsin. She was Scheduling Director to Governor Jim Doyle and Deputy Director of Financial Management at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). In 2007, she was appointed Division Administrator to the Public Service Commission, where she directed the creation of the State Broadband Office, which continues to expand internet access across Wisconsin.
Former WAI Administrator Donna Cole accepted a position working with Dr. Amy Kind’s research lab as an outreach program manager in early 2021. We thank Donna for her years of dedication to WAI and welcome Sarah to her new position. We are glad to have her support of WAI’s mission to provide resources, education and support to dementia care professionals, people living with dementia and caregivers.
