Stephanie Houston featured in Alzheimer’s Association article

Stephanie HoustonThe Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter featured Stephanie Houston, Senior Outreach Specialist at the WAI Regional Milwaukee Office, and the critical work she has been doing during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide support and advocacy for people with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia in the Milwaukee area. Houston also serves as director of the Amazing Grace Chorus®.

From the Alzheimer’s Association feature:

“When COVID-19 hit, we learned a lot of lessons about accessing resources,” says Stephanie. “In Milwaukee County, African Americans account for 27% of the population, but they represented 70% of the people dying.”
