November is Prematurity Awareness Month. The Lifecourse Initiative for Healthy Families (LIHF) and UW Center for Community Engagement and Health Partnerships in Milwaukee, cordially invites you to join us for “Addressing Systemic Racism: The Toll of Infant Mortality & Prematurity on African American Families.” This virtual event takes place on Friday, November 20 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Jasmine Zapata, M.D., MPH, will share her personal journey with prematurity before participating in a robust discussion with the following panelists:
Dalvery Blackwell, Executive Director and Co-Founder of the African American Breastfeeding Network
Dr. Dominique Pritchett, Psy.D., Owner & Clinical Director at Beloved Wellness Center in Kenosha
Preneice Love, Community Strategist in Racine for the Lifecourse Initiative for Health Families (LIHF)
