Each year, Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute (WAI) hosts an annual update in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. This year’s event will be held virtually November 4-5, 2021. Read the event webpage for details about the 3-day event schedule, speaker biographies and how to register.

This continuing education opportunity is designed to improve the diagnostic and therapeutic capability of healthcare providers who care for persons living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Held annually in November; it typically draws over 250 primary care physicians, psychiatrists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational and speech therapists, researchers, case managers, and health professional students. The Update includes presentations that are research-based and showcase cutting edge best practices.
