Our heartfelt condolences go out to the wife, children, and caretakers of beloved chorus member Mr. Mark Sydney Barr. Mark was a kind and gentle soul. He was a former educator and an avid biker who loved his family, who enjoyed travel, who loved music and who loved life. We are grateful he and his wife, Colleen, and their entire family allowed the Amazing Grace Chorus to become a part of their “village.”
An early supporter of the chorus, volunteer conductor and member, Ms. Skwierawski is deeply missed by the chorus. Read about Ms. Skwierawski and her extraordinary career in an article from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Janice Fowlkes
Ms. Fowlkes was a loved chorus member and a friend to all of us. You can see her smiling face and read about her in two Milwaukee Journal Sentinel articles she graciously agreed to be featured in: “For those with dementia, a note of harmony and healing” and “Choir for those with dementia”
William Pier
Dr. Pier was a beloved member of The Amazing Grace Chorus®. He and his wife, Joanne, sang in the chorus for years and we miss him greatly.
