Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute’s Annual Update in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias provides health care professionals with updates in best practices in memory and dementia care.
The WAI Annual Update in 2023 was held in-person and virtually on November 2 and November 3. Topics included the new era of disease modifying therapies, challenges and benefits of early diagnosis, improving access to care for Latino communities, speech and language changes along the continuum of Alzheimer’s disease, building skills in evaluation of cognitive concerns, and updates in research and implementing them to daily practice. Offering continuing education credits, the professional education event was jointly provided by Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute, Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and Wisconsin Medical Society.
