Janesville Geriatric Assessment Center

The Janesville Geriatric Assessment Center at Mercy Clinic South is a multi-disciplinary diagnostic service directed toward the early diagnosis, treatment and management of geriatric syndromes, especially memory loss. Since senior health problems are often complex, the center uses a team approach in its evaluation. This comprehensive, professional assessment can give you an accurate diagnosis and allow you to make plans for the future of your loved ones.

The diagnostic team includes Steve Bartz, MD, RPh, board certified family and geriatric medicine physician; Jennifer Stoll, PhD, licensed neuropsychologist; and Tammy Pence, family advocate. Dr. Bartz is also a registered pharmacist and is well suited to answer medication related questions.

The Janesville Geriatric Assessment Center at Mercy Clinic South operates on Tuesday afternoons. For more information, or to make an appointment, please contact:

This clinic is a member of the WAI-Affiliated Dementia Diagnostic Clinic Network. Network clinics differ from other memory clinics in that their staff have received training/observation time and/or guidance from the WAI and the UW Health Memory Assessment Clinic. In addition, clinic network staff attend the WAI's annual conference and bi-annual clinic network meetings, which provide up-to-date research and disease management information. Clinics in the network do remain autonomous, but follow a set of guidelines.
